Saturday in the Park : GLBT Pride

Volunteers are us! 

SITP is an all volunteer organization.  We feel that celebrating pride is important to ourselves and our community.  We'd love to have YOU join us.  We can always use a few more hands, especially on the day of the event.

What can you do?

Volunteer for an hour or two! 

• SETUP CREW 
• BEER GARDEN ID CHECKERS
• BARTENDERS 
• CASHIERS
• SECURITY
• CLEANUP CREW
• TEAR DOWN CREW 

    On the day of SITP, some hardy volunteers get there at 8am to start the setup.  Then we put up tables, fencing, garbage cans, canopies, etc.  We also direct vendors from 9am-11am to spots and help them move stuff, and the bands start arriving about 11am.

    Through-out the day we need: Beer Garden staff, Clean Up Crew to keep it clean, Security to help with problems, Cashiers to keep track of the money, etc.

    At 6pm, the show is over and the teardown crew swings into action to return the park to a better state then we found it.  By 7pm, we are usually about done.
